A year ago today...

I know this is my teaching blog but I can't help it, I'm a personable person. I enjoy it when others take a moment to share pieces of their lives outside of the classroom too since, despite what our students believe, we aren't just teachers all the time :)

A year ago today I married this guy right here. 

It's hard for me to put into words how much love I have for him. 

He's the best person I know.

   

{Our Story}

Six years ago we met on a beach in Australia while studying abroad.

We spent the next 3 months falling in love.

He came back home to Colorado. I went back home to New York. We decided to give it a shot.

For two years we dated long distance, flying back and forth to see each other every 2-3 months.

 I graduated college  and decided to move out to Colorado. 

We got an apartment. Then a dog. Then a house.

We picked a wedding date then we officially got engaged.

We got married. We got another dog.

I incorporated one of my favorite quotes about our time together in Australia into our cake design.
