I've got a Monday Made it, a Winner, and 2 very cool Gadget Giveaways to share with you!
Let's start with the Monday Made It....
This is the Balloon Banner that I made for my nephew's 2 1/2 year old birthday party!!
Here is How I Made It
First we laid out all of the balloons in the pattern we wanted by color groups of three.
Then using needle and thread, sew the three balloons together. Then tie them off.
Don't run out of lung power :)
Then once you have all your balloons assembled you can begin to stack and tie them. Initially I ran a thread right through the middle like the above directions said. But I didn't feel like they were tight enough, so I started looping my one REALLY long thread around each new balloon set, and looping down to the set below them and pulling them together to tighten.
Eventually it got high enough where I needed to recruit some help to keep the stack from falling over as I added new layers.
Thanks hubs!
Final product :)
And quickly before I sign off-- I tried to make a post yesterday but blogger went a little wonky on me. I kept getting a weird error message when I tried to post. Eventually the post looked published on my dashbaord, but it turns out it never actually did. Boo.
So here is take two...
