Here's a fun little tidbit about me: I celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah growing up. My Mom is Catholic and my Dad is Jewish. So I got to experience the best of both worlds!! I intend to teach & celebrate both Holidays with my future littles some day. But until them, I go about teaching them to my kiddos at school. I love teaching my students about Hanukkah,so I was torn about whether or not I wanted to include it in my Christmas Celebrations Around The World unit. Ultimately I decided I didn't want to include it since the focus really is on how people celebrate Christmas around the world. But I still wanted to share my Hanukkah resource with you. So I put together this little mini unit FREEBIE!!

Thanks for the cute unit! Just a heads up. Israel is spelled incorrectly on the page with the map of Asia. I hate when I do that!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. I have a Jewish boy in my class and I'm always looking for fun ideas. Thank you so much.
